J. Miller is an author of thrillers, science fiction, and horror — stories that live at the intersection of technology, folklore, and the human instinct to look away from what frightens us most.

A native of upstate New York, Miller spent years working in healthcare administration before turning to fiction full-time. That experience — watching institutions manage their reputations as carefully as their patients — gave him the material for Vital Lies: Echoes Rising, his debut medical thriller.

His writing is character-driven but never slow. Readers describe his books as the kind you finish in two sittings because you can't find a good place to stop.

Miller is also developing original music tied to the worlds of his books — atmospheric, cinematic compositions that extend the storytelling beyond the page.

"Every story holds a mirror to our fears. Embrace them and discover the magic within."
